Fun Run is on May 4 @ 5pm

The Kids Fun Run will be held on Saturday, May 4th, on the Frederick Fairgrounds track. Prior to the race, all participants must pick up their race number. This can be done at the EXPO on race day in Building 13 between 10am-4:30pm. Participants should stage with their age group in the Kids Zone located in the infield near the inflatable games. Groups will begin to walk to their respective start-line 15 minutes prior to the start of the race. There will be two separate distances in the Kids Fun Run (see below).

Fun Run Finish Area

Upon completion of the race, participants corralled in a holding area at the finish. Parents are asked to join their child here and escort them directly to the Kids Fun Zone to receive their finisher’s medal. In addition, water & snacks will be available in the Fun Zone.  

Starting the Fun Run

All races will start promptly at the time indicated. All participants should meet in the Kids Fun Zone, located on the infield of the track by 4:45pm. Runners will be escorted to their appropriate start line by race staff. Parents are encouraged to run the course with their child. Parents of children 5 years old & under are required to run the course with their child.
