NEW DATE: JULY 10 & 11
Frederick Running Festival Postponed to July 10-11
Baltimore, MD (March 25, 2021) — Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today the 2021 Frederick Running Festival presented by Frederick Foot & Ankle will be postponed to July 10-11.
After meeting with representatives from the mayor’s office, police department, Parks & Recreation, health department, and the Frederick Fairgrounds, the group collectively decided rescheduling the event was the safest and best resolution.
Lee Corrigan, president of CSE, said, “After a unique year we know that the runners who signed up to participate live truly want to run through the streets and beauty of Frederick. Moving to the July date puts us in better position to invite runners from across the country to join us live this summer. As always, runner safety remains our top priority.”
Our mitigation plan will be revisited and adjusted as necessary to comply with the city’s or state’s public health protocols that are in place for outdoor activities.
We hope that those who are already registered will be able to join us on our new date. That said, we understand that the new date may not fit into your schedule. With that in mind, here are your options:

Please be safe.
