WELCOME VOLUNTEERS!
Online volunteer registration for the 2024 Frederick Running Festival is now open!
Over 500 volunteers are needed to make the Frederick Running Festival successful. Volunteer opportunities are now available for the 2023 Frederick Running Festival, May 4 & May 5 at the Health and Fitness Expo, 5K and Kids Fun Run races on Saturday night, as well as on Sunday race day.
All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt.
Below is the description of the volunteer positions.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ON SATURDAY, May 4
The Health and Fitness Expo:
- assist with runner distribution of Race Packets to runners
- assist with runner registration
5K and Kids Fun Run Races on Saturday:
- 5K and Kids Fun Run Finish Line Water Stop
- Escorting Kids Fun Run race participants
RACE DAY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES on Sunday, May 5
- manage people flow
- provide water
- direct finishers appropriately
- assist in recovery area (food/drink distribution)
- medal presentation
