Did
you know that $30 could nourish an orphan infant for one week or $55 would feed
a child for one month?
If
you thought ‘wow’ I have friends that would donate to feed a child and you’re
going to run in the Frederick Running Festival. Join Frederick Church of the
Brethren and For His Glory Adoption Outreach to feed the orphans of Maison des
Enfants de Dieu and people of Port-au-Prince,
Haiti. Every
dollar raised will go directly to the purchase of food.
Runners may run any distance and must commit to raising a minimum of $250 and
will receive their race registration and technical shirt.

The BWC is committed to improving the quality of daily life of families engaged in gynecologic cancer treatment by providing direct support services to patients and their families. These services are provided through member hospitals and include transportation, grocery shopping and meal preparation, house cleaning and prescription drug co-payment... Because simple, everyday matters should not be a concern when when patients and families are focused on making every day matter.
Our biggest annual fundraiser is the Baltimore Women’s Classic 5K race - the second oldest, all-women’s race in the United States. Since its inception in 1976, the race continues to promote its guiding principle: celebrating life, fitness and the power that lies inside each woman to take control of her health while raising funds to assist those less fortunate.
